A Summer Rental Change-Over Cleaning can be described as a General Cleaning that also includes fridge/freezer emptying and sanitizing, trash removal, and ovens checked and cleaned as necessary. This type of cleaning is typically performed on Saturdays within the restricted amount of time between check-out and check-in of guests. Airbnb properties also fall under this criteria.
Before the season starts, a mandatory Spring Cleaning is required; if instead you choose to do a detailed cleaning yourself, a scheduled Walk-Through is required to determine if further cleaning is needed before Change-Overs begin. At the time of the Walk-Through if items are undone from the Spring Cleaning list, those items will be completed at $40 per man hour. This High Tide Cleaning policy is in place to help our teams more efficiently manage summer upkeep of your rentals, as we are unable to do these additional details during the tight schedule afforded to Change-Over cleanings.
The required Spring Cleaning must be completed by the second week of June or, if your rental season begins earlier, at least one week prior to your first renter’s check-in. Please contact us with your rental dates as well as proposed Spring Cleaning deadline as soon as possible, as our Change-Over scheduling slots are limited.
